The First Chapter
“Thus, a soul can see what the eyes cannot ….”
I have written this quote in the first chapter of my novel, “The Becoming of the Mystic” hoping to grasp and appreciate the blessing of being able to see. Literally taken or not, we should find it a comfort that we are able to view the different palettes of our surroundings. At least, for the sake of those who are unable to.
Early this morning, I walked past our neighborhood to go to work. I really enjoyed the dancing sun beams playing underneath the tree leaves. The shades and light were dancing together while the sun was rising up gloriously up the vast canvas sky.
Or so that’s how I would desperately try to describe it in mere words. I think that you know what I mean. Try it tomorrow morning. Go out and look up to the sky wherever you are. Search for those dancing lights around you. The combination of lights creates the colors we often times take for granted – whether it’s simply black or white.
